​JoAnn Gregoli

Planning social events was a big part of JoAnn Gregoli’s life upon graduation from college. After receiving her degree in Public Relations, she joined a PR firm where she planned events for many major corporations, as well as private events for corporate clients. By far, one of her most memorable and touching projects was assisting brides who lost wedding venues after the attacks on NYC on 9/11.  With the assistance of The Knot and Brides magazine, she was able to relocate over 200 brides to new venues around the city.
The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) awarded JoAnn the title of Professional Wedding Planner and she was appointed the New Jersey State Coordinator of ABC. She completed the ABC’s Course and earned the distinction of Master Wedding Planner. She was also appointed the New York Metro Coordinator for the Association.
Over the years, destination weddings have grown immensely and are more than just a trend. JoAnn has been recognized as a guru in this area. Modern Bride magazine included her as one of their Trendsetters of the Year and she was also recently recognized as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Wedding Planners in the world!Type your paragraph here.

Erin Halley Reddy


Erin Reddy is a Senior Event Producer at Colin Cowie Celebrations and has been in the event industry for more than fifteen years. Her event expertise is in planning and producing social events, charity event, and high impact marketing events. Erin produces both local and destination events from Colin’s New York office, from The Hamptons to Ireland and as far away as South Africa. 
Prior to joining Colin Cowie Celebrations, Erin managed global installations for Preston Bailey Entertainment & Set Design, launched national products for MKG Productions, and even collaborated with Kanye West on a street marketing album launch. Erin has produced events around the globe from intimate weddings in Greece & Italy, to multi-million dollar décor installations in Indonesia, Qatar, and the even the backyard of some of the worlds most elite.
Erin graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business, as well as a BFA in Photography and BA in Art History. Outside of the office, she spends her time exploring Brooklyn with her young son.  

James Abel

Known for his elegant and practical style, James Abel is renowned as an event designer and planner who is able to understand and incorporate your personal taste into your special event.
An expert at creating unforgettable weddings and events, James has orchestrated countless weddings throughout the United States and abroad. He’s hosted celebrity and political fundraisers and he has planned corporate events for well-known brands including the Consumer Electronics Association (CES), Proctor and Gamble, Sheridan & Co, Oceana, Scalamandre, JP Morgan Chase, ABN Amro-Sage, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Whether they are seeking a beautiful wedding or memorable corporate event, James can make any client's dream a reality.  He has the unique ability to work within a client’s specified perimeters, creating events that are as fun to plan as they are to experience. James particularly enjoys the challenge of transforming spaces and has worked in destinations as diverse as the elegant Beverly Wilshire Hotel, a historic barn in the Texas hill country and the sandy beaches of Anguilla.
James was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He remembers at a young age appreciating the sensory aspects of events -- the taste of good food and drink, the visual of a well-decorated venue and the humming sounds of a great party.  James holds degrees in fine art, art history and in business. His southern roots are what set James apart from other event planners. Not only is planning an event with James enjoyable, but he's a hospitable and gracious host, known for maintaining his cool even in the most stressful of situations.

David Fletcher  

Moderator

David is the co founder of YEP! and WAM!, and the owner of New York's Best Musicians, Photo & Video and Washington's Best Musicians, Photo & Video. He holds a Masters degree in African history and was formerly the Director of Bands and Choruses at Georgetown University.  He has been providing music for weddings for over 50 years..

Yudelka Carrera

Yudelka immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic in 1990 with a degree in Hospitality. As soon as she arrived in the United States she was determined to pursue her event planning passion and received a degree in Hospitality from the New York Technological College. She began working at a private catering company a couple of years after graduation for seventeen years but within the past year decided to apply the knowledge she gained from school and work to run her own event planning company called Events by Yudy.
Prior to incorporating the business in April 2015. Yudelka sought countless learning opportunities to ensure that her venture would be successful and continue to grow while she grew her professional network. A certified Event Designer from the Event Leadership Institute in NYC, she is a member of the Young Event Planning Association and attends classes at Small Business Solutions Center, and the Business Outreach Center Network among other organizations. Yudelka is also currently going to school to become a Dietitian because she is motivated to provide healthy menu choices to her vegetarian and vegan clients.
Events by Yudy has been featured for her work in various publications, including an article in the New York Daily News and a spotlight in a toolkit pamphlet for the Small Business Solutions Center.

Sandie Luna  


is the Co-Founder and Director of Business Development of PUNTO Space

and co-founder of Nettles Artists Collective.  In 2015 Sandie was recognized by the Dominican American National Foundation. Sandie is an Afro-Latina actress, mover, director and producer having performed in TV, radio, commercials, and theater productions for the English and Spanish markets, including the Off- Broadway hit Platanos & Collard Greens for four years. Sandie is the conceptual production designer of Apple of My Eye and currently has a supporting role.  The theater piece recently won a 2016 Brazilian International Press Award. 

Sandie conceptualized With This Ring, a recent wedding event that transformed PUNTO's four studios, and private green room into an interactive wedding experience.  


PUNTO Space is a new three level event and performance venue located in Midtown West founded in 2014 by Debora Balardini, Duke York and Sandie Luna.  As a space that transforms with each event PUNTO was rightfully named after a phrase in Spanish that translates to ‘cool place to hang out’.  PUNTO has a storefront entrance and four studios that can be booked individually, in combination or exclusively.  The contemporary raw-space boasts over 3,500 square feet and transforms with each performance, gala, corporate and private event.  PUNTO Space is a state-of-the-art facility with a variety of rental options, customizable packages and an attentive events team committed to exemplary service.

The venue has been home to events, art happenings, and performances for brands to include Anheuser-Busch, Double Verify, Uptown Fashion Week, xAd and Uzo Aduba.
